Do you want to work with the latest technologies, following principles of cloud native architectures and be part of developing and maintaining microservices that are included in our big solutions spread towards customers around the world?

We are now looking for two co-workers in our Technical Product Group CIL (Common Information Layer). For the solutions we are working with, CIL is used as the common data storage. It may be used by practically any product which needs this functionality and it is implemented as a layer on top of a Cassandra DB.

Within the unit we are working both with virtualized and containerized environments, as well as being both the provider and consumer of microservices.

The successful candidates should be able to take the role as a Team leader and drive the team in accordance with our Agile way of working. The candidates should also be active in ensuring that our security guidelines are understood and followed, which is considered an important and daily task for us all.Our ways of working are based on agile principles, where Continuous Integration and Automation are corner stones in our development methodology. You will be a part of all phases of the life cycle including design, architecture, implementation, verification, maintenance and support. You will also interact with other Technical Product Groups team, cross-site, as well as other parts within the organization.

As our candidate you should be self-motivated, service minded, enjoy working in team and have good communication skills to interact and work within a multinational, multi-site cross-functional teams/program set-up. You think outside the box and take ownership end to end. You strive to meet targets and the highest standards of quality and have the ability to analyze tackle tricky problems.

You want to be the best in your area of expertise but you are also curious to understand the big picture and how people are performing their best and meet the things we value. Collaboration is a key factor.

You will

• Be a part of daily involvement related to security guidelines
• Participate in driving strategic technical leadership
• Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling
• Develop and test high quality products
• Perform trouble shooting and take part in customer support
• Conduct continuous improvements of products, services and processes

To be successful in the role you must have

• A Master’s or Bachelor´s Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science
• Demonstrated ability in software and product development
• An understanding of partnership and how to perform at your best as a team
• A positive and inspiring approach and mind set in your everyday work
• Knowledge and experience with NoSQL database
• Experience within Java and Python
• Knowledge of principles in cloud native architectures and its tools, e.g Kubernetes, helm and docker
• Knowledge in Software development environment and its tools, e.g Eclipse, Git, Gerrit, Maven, Jenkins
• Ability to write and speak English
