At the moment we are looking for the right person to fill an opening as Firmware Developer in our Platform Management team.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Platform Management team is a team within the Research & Development (R&D) department. This team is responsible for managing our Firmware Platform and up-grading our products with new firmware.

As a Firmware Developer your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

* Analyse major problems in our firmware
* Solving firmware bugs
* Participate in task forces
* Identify issues with broken products
* Do technical pre-studies related to the platform

This position is important for us in order to be able to speed up our release pace and will improve our possibility to successfully run activities involving different parts of our firmware.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe the right candidate has a Master's or Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent, great knowledge and interest of software development and network products. You have experience from C-programming in a Linux environment. Since you will work in an international environment it’s necessary that you have excellent communications skills in Swedish and English, both written and verbal.

Furthermore, we think you are a problem solver with a creative mindset which enables you to analyze complex technical issues and identify problems in different areas. We appreciate your service minded attitude and the ability to support our platform administration with technical problems.

Cooperation is a crucial part of Axis' success, so we believe it is important that you are good at working in teams and thus have the opportunity to develop through your colleagues. You are also able to take lead in different task forces.

In addition to the above, we believe you have the following qualifications;

* Network communication
* Performance optimization
* Shell, Perl & Python script
* Automated testing
* General programing knowledge
