Senior Support Specialist

We are now looking for a Senior Sup­port Spe­cialist to sup­port our cus­tomers in the imple­men­ta­tion and use of our appli­ca­tion. This role involves working with second line sup­port, and as such you are the link between the first line of sup­port and the devel­op­ment depart­ment. Your work duties include ana­lyzing incoming cases, assessing their degree of seri­ous­ness and deter­mining where the fault lies in order to be able to esca­late each case to the right level. Another impor­tant aspect of your role is to follow up on com­pleted cases with the aim of ensuring increased cus­tomer satisfaction.

As a person you are driven, service-oriented and enter­prising. You find it easy to com­mu­ni­cate with others, and you enjoy being part of a team. You are pro­fes­sional in the manner you interact with cus­tomers, and you have the ability to cor­rectly pri­or­i­tize and follow up dif­ferent cases. You must have a fun­da­mental knowl­edge of Linux in order to be able to under­stand the text-based com­mands when inves­ti­gating the prob­lems asso­ci­ated with cus­tomer cases.

Requirements
Must have experience in Foreign Exchange and FX fundamentals and excellent in using Quasar eFX.
Fun­da­mental knowledge of Linux
Fun­da­mental understanding of Java
Fun­da­mental knowledge of scripting
Fluent in spoken and written Eng­lish and Arabic

It is of merit if you also have
Knowl­edge of real time and or business-critical sys­tems and experience in supporting them.
Experience of the banking and/or finance sector
Command of a third language such as French.
