We are now looking for a Senior Support Specialist to support our customers in the implementation and use of our application. This role involves working with second line support, and as such you are the link between the first line of support and the development department. Your work duties include analyzing incoming cases, assessing their degree of seriousness and determining where the fault lies in order to be able to escalate each case to the right level. Another important aspect of your role is to follow up on completed cases with the aim of ensuring increased customer satisfaction.
As a person you are driven, service-oriented and enterprising. You find it easy to communicate with others, and you enjoy being part of a team. You are professional in the manner you interact with customers, and you have the ability to correctly prioritize and follow up different cases. You must have a fundamental knowledge of Linux in order to be able to understand the text-based commands when investigating the problems associated with customer cases.
Requirements
Must have experience in Foreign Exchange and FX fundamentals and excellent in using Quasar eFX.
Fundamental knowledge of Linux
Fundamental understanding of Java
Fundamental knowledge of scripting
Fluent in spoken and written English and Arabic
It is of merit if you also have
Knowledge of real time and or business-critical systems and experience in supporting them.
Experience of the banking and/or finance sector
Command of a third language such as French.
