Volvo CE in Braås, located close to Växjö, develop autonomous and articulated haulers. We do everything from product planning, development, sales and marketing to purchasing, manufacturing and assembly of the complete machine. The Team
The AAH Software Systems team consists of 15 highly skilled engineers working in cross functional projects in an agile setup.
We are responsible for the software development for our autonomous and articulated haulers in all parts of the product lifecycle (Prototyping, new development projects, as well as product maintenance).
The Role
As Software engineer you are involved in all steps in the development of the software: From product needs, to requirement breakdown, software design, implementation, tuning and testing in machine.
Another important part of the role is to contribute to the continuous development of our work methods including: Model Based Development and Continuous Integration (CI) as well as our agile way of working.

Knowledge & experience
To be successful in your new role we believe you have the following knowledge or experience:
- Passion for innovation and experience from embedded software systems
- A customer focus and genuine interest in technical solutions
- Eager to learn and work with your own and the team’s development
- University/Master’s degree in Computer Science/Electrical engineering or equivalent
- Great communication skills in English, spoken and written
Experience/knowledge in some of the following areas will be beneficial and are meritorious:
- Autonomous or driver assisting solutions, experience from automotive or construction equipment, C++, Object oriented programming, GIT, UML, software in safety critical systems, Unit testing, CI/CD, Android development, Agile methods/SAFe, Advanced diagnostics, Hydraulics
