GLOBALscandinavia is recruiting a Localization Engineer/Project Manager

GLOBALscandinavia Group now needs to strengthen its international team with a localization engineer/project manager for translation projects.

GLOBALscandinavia is a translation agency with 38 years in the industry. We have offices in Malmö, Copenhagen and Oslo and provide language service solutions for customers in our home markets and abroad.

Our localization engineer/project manager position is formally located at the office in Malmö, but with the possibility to work entirely or partly remotely.

As a localization engineer/project manager at GLOBALscandinavia Group, you are part of an international project team that together leads and organizes our production processes.

Your tasks are to:

• Set up project templates, filters and the like for recurring project types
• Assist the sales team and the other project teams with expertise on issues related to file formats, IT systems, integrations and digital tools
• Manage and maintain existing integrations between different systems
• Identify opportunities to introduce new technical tools and help develop new automations and integrations
• Collaborate with others in project teams on major projects
• Analyze content to be translated and prepare quotes
• In collaboration with the organization's sales representatives and the project team, develop customer-specific translation solutions

To succeed in the role of localization engineer/project manager, we believe that you have:

• relevant training or experience related to the provision and handling of language services
• a deep understanding of how CAT tools work and experience in setting up advanced projects in one of the leading tools
• experience in scripting in Python or other languages
• experience in working with REST-based APIs
• experience with XTRF or equivalent ERP systems
• experience in machine translation

As a person, we believe that you are self-motivated, passionate about both language and technology, and have a sharp business perspective. You have a passion for realizing the potential of digitalization through new ways of working and new technologies.

One requirement to succeed is your ability to express yourself well in written and spoken English. It is a big plus if you also master Swedish, Danish or Norwegian.
