Python/Django Developer

At Fyndiq our tech-team develops everything, from server infrastructure and back-end code in Python/Django to front-end development in JavaScript, CSS and HTML. As a developer in our team you will work together with 6 highly skilled developers that take pride in creating elegant, simple solutions that scale well. With our team you will work in a way that is inspired by the open source community and our work rely on communication via GitHub.

As a developer at Fyndiq you will take full responsibility for the development process of the projects or functionalities you work with. This means that you, together with VP of Engineering and CTO will define the specifications and the scope of the project. Then you will be responsible for developing, implementing and testing the code to assure quality as well as take the full responsibility for the technical solutions you work with. You will work with varied projects and you will be part of developing not only the technical side but also the business side of Fyndiq to make sure that we reach our business targets.

Who are you?

We are looking for a talented developer with prior experience of Django/Python. To succeed in this position you are a passionate developer who is all round with experience from working with varied projects and who enjoy web development. It is highly meritorious if you have prior experience from e-commerce.

You are a skilled back-end developer and it’s highly meritorious if you know you’re way around both Javascript, CSS and HTML. You know how to write code that scale well and you know MySQL or other relational databases. As a person you take pride in being part of building our own platform which means that you are careful, accurate and want to make a difference. We also believe that you enjoy working for a fast growing entrepreneurial startup company that use English as working language.

Fyndiq is an online marketplace like Amazon, which in the spirit of Ullared offers a wide of products for bargain -hungry consumers. Besides that, we are an additional sales channel for all types of e-tailers as well as physical traders, who in an easy way want to sell products that move slowly or products that they want to increase sales on. Today we have about 1000 merchants connected and we can offer the consumer market more than 150,000 products.

Fyndiq established on the market in 2010 and has since had a very strong growth. The turnover for 2011 was 8 million SEK and increased in 2012 to MSEK 56, 2013 we landed at 124 MSEK. Fyndiq is an entrepreneurial company with strong commitment and high goals for the future. Our vision is to become largest in Sweden and we are continuing to see strong growth both in Sweden and internationally.
