Role summary

ASSA ABLOY AB's Department Global IT Shared Service Center is now searching for a Global IT-Service Manager. The team responsibility for this role consist of approximately 20 persons within the area Application Management, Hosting & Collaboration, Networking and Process Management.

Responsibilities and challenges

As a Global IT-Service manager, you manage the team at an operational level with close proximity to the business, with great opportunity to be involved and influence the development and results in the right direction.

In this position you will be executing the strategy and ensure execution of continuous standardization of the IT infrastructure and application management services. In close partnering with internal customers and external strategic partners, you will increase the quality for IT infrastructure and application services based on selected ITIL processes and plan for future growth.

You will be responsible for Incident Management, Problem Management and Change Management. You will also define, follow-up and ascertain organizational compliance to Service Management processes.

The position has its basis in ASSA ABLOY's office in Landskrona and you will report to the IT Director Global IT Shared Service Center at ASSA ABLOY.

Tasks:

• Manage and integrate the organization responsible for IT Service Management. Define objectives, processes, set expectations and follow-up on the quality of services in all aspects of Service based in ITIL standards.
• Assure that IT services are in compliance with SLAs, other KPIs and Service Management Processes
• Make sure that the IT service delivery is continually improved and that innovative solutions are implemented for enhancing the quality of service.
• Report and analyse Service metrics with reporting of results and actions to Staff and executives
• Responsible for incidents are resolved efficiently
• Ensure that employees within the own part of the organization are up-to-date on trends and best practices in processes, tools and technology.
• Negotiate Service Level Contracts with internal and external suppliers and customers in cooperation with Group IT Supply Category Manager

Background and personal qualities

You have a minimum of 8 years professional experience in the IT industry, in a similar role, and are an experienced negotiator.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience in large infrastructure and application management outsourcing deals
• Expert knowledge in ITIL Service and Delivery Processes and integration of those in an international enterprise
• Skills in Process design and documentation
• Knowledge in enterprise ITIL compliant ITSM Software suites such as Service Now, Frontrange, BMC Remedy or similar
• Strong Project Management skills
• Strong skills in SLA and contract negotiation
• Excellent people management skills with experience from managing staff in many different locations
• High level of verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Strong Business and Customer orientation

It’s an extra qualification if you have ITIL Service Manager certification.
