What will you do?

As a senior software engineer you will work with design and development of software with main focus on the application software for controlling our Phadia Instruments with strong competence in database design and development. The software team is responsible for several PC and Web software products, which are used for running Phadia Systems and for the world-wide support of instruments. In this role you would mainly work in C#/.NET environment with Microsoft's latest development environments and tools. There will also be opportunities to work with web services and related technologies and tools.

You will be working with specifications, development and testing of software and instrument functions, through the entire product life cycle from new products to support and improvement of existing products.

We are looking for a senior software engineer with a deep knowledge in database development and maintenance.

In practice, this means that you will work with:

• Development of specifications based on customer requirements
• Design, implement and test software
• Drive database implementation and maintenance work, throughout the product life cycle
• Participate in the verification work
• Participate in design reviews and change management
• Participate in and drive new ways of working, including introducing new technologies
• Working with risk management and handling of complaints in accordance with our quality management system
• Be responsible for writing and updating technical documentation
• Participate in product maintenance and 3rd line support to our customers worldwide

How will you get there?

We are looking for a person with a higher education degree or Master of Science in computer engineering, electrical engineering, engineering physics or similar, with at least 10 years of work experience in the development of instruments and software.

We develop software for diagnostic systems under regulatory requirements, so you need to have solid personal integrity and awareness of the importance of documentation, rules and procedures that need to be addressed.

SQL Server competence would be necessary, and Oracle would be a plus. Furthermore, good experience of Entity Framework 6 is also necessary, and Entity Framework Core would be great. The person must be a senior software engineer with long experience in C#, .NET.
