Tech Lead / VP Engineering

Build a globally scalable real-time platform as fast and as beautiful as possible.

Together with the CTO you are responsible for making a globally scalable real-time platform as fast and as beautiful as possible. We also expect that you to strive to improve the quality and effectiveness of the Tech team, together with your colleagues.

Day to day work includes moving the platform forward with technological improvements and the product by developing new features or improving existing.

We are looking for a person that will be a key contributor in the Mentimeter team. We are a product-focused company (as you hopefully see on mentimeter.com) and employ only people with a passion for building great online, and user-friendly services.

The position is a leading tech role in Mentimeter, so both titles: Tech Lead and VP Engineering, has been suggested. Depending on your goals and seniority, this can be discussed.

• Equivalent of 3-5 years experience in development and building state of the art online services
• Long-time interest in technology
• Knows both back-end (Ruby and Node.js) and front-end (heavy use of JS)
• Awesome can-do mentality
