Tobii Technology is the world leader in eye tracking – a technology that allows a computer to tell exactly where a person is looking. Eye tracking is used in a broad range of applications, including Market research and eye controlled computer interfaces. Headquartered in Stockholm Tobii covers a global market with offices in USA, Germany, Norway, Japan and China.

Tobii is looking for an Interaction designer to create mind blowing consumer experiences based on Eye Tracking technology. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about design and who has experience from automotive and/or other device interfaces where focus, attention and timing are important factors. You bring strong visual design skills and a solid understanding for how the human mind perceives design. As an Interaction designer you will work with the entire process from concept to detailed design, and you will work closely with the team throughout the development cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptual design of interactive experiences. Taking into account how the natural behavior of the eyes and the value to the end user and customer. Storyboards, sketches, personas, etc.
• Detailed interaction and animation design. Getting all the details right.
• Visual design. Having consistent and excellent aesthetics is key. Design as well as production. Across different products.
• Communicating and champion the design inside and outside team.
• Collaborate with UX designers in other teams.
• Rapid interactive prototypes/mockups.
• User testing as needed.

• Master degree or equivalent experience, specializing in design related area.
• At least few years experiences in visual design and interaction design.
• Strong visual design skills.
• Time critical MMI:s such as automotive/medical/device.
• Strong interaction design skills.
• Solid understanding of how the mind perceives design.
• Experience from working with UX/design in agile teams.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently.

Desirable:

• Animation, film or gaming design skills.
• Experience from user testing.
• AD or CD experience.
