Junior front end developer

Unibet´s Stockholm office is our core tech hub where Unibet´s many websites and core systems are built, maintained and enhanced. We are now looking for a front end developer to join our Maria team.

The Maria team is responsible for Maria CMS at Unibet which includes maria.com and a number of white-label sites which all uses one shared CMS. We integrate with multiple other teams within Unibet, different teams for different purposes.

The Maria team works in an agile environment, utilising Kanban. Team members themselves chooses which of the available issues they would like to work on, meaning you have more control over your own work without someone managing you in detail.

We are a good mix of people and we all share the passion about our work, not all of us are gamblers ourselves, we have people with other interests, like video gaming, so don?t be afraid if you think that all of us are professional gamblers.

Key accountabilities of this role are:

Working closely with Product Owner, Agile Coach and unit members to collaborate and influence new development
Developing and evolving the front-end for the Maria web and mobile sites
Ensuring performance and quality of all deliveries across different platforms
Sharing knowledge and best practices within the organisation

We're looking for someone with the following skills, knowledge and experience:

Passionate about front-end development, tool and techniques
Eager to learn and to spread knowledge
Takes own initiative, being proactive
Experience with development in JavaScript, CSS, HTML5
Familiar with a JavaScript framework such as AngularJS or React
Familiar working with test frameworks/tools such as PhantomJS, Jasmine and Karma throughout development
Beneficial to have knowledge in Java and Linux
