The Opportunity

We are looking for a fresh graduate or a junior developer to join our platform team, you will work on our Linux distribution that is the base of Sandvines products.

You will design, develop, test and maintain a variety of features that is required for our high-performance platforms.

You will interact with all different product teams, taking input on what requirements is set from their features and together with the product owner plan and estimate the work. We are looking for a self-going, highly motivated developer with a keen interest in Linux.

The position is placed in Varberg, Sweden.

The Job

• Design and develop features for our products.
• Coordinate with product teams.
• Develop features on our Linux Virtualization and Cloud platforms.
• Contribute to large projects such as implementations of new versions of Linux into Sandvine products

What skills you bring:

• Bachelor or Master (or equivalent) degree in Computer Science
• Experience in Linux development
• Excellent programming skills in Python and Bash
• Experience in BMC/BIOS tuning, iDRAC and NIC handling
• Basic knowledge in C
• Genuine interest in learning new things
• Knowledge in Kubernetes, AWS, Virtualization and Openstack is desirable
