Volvo Group Trucks Technology are looking for engineers within the area of Driver Interaction

The Driver Interaction department has an increased need of skilled engineers in Gothenburg.
We are looking for embedded software developers, usability engineers, verification engineers and system engineers that will develop and deliver the next generation driver interaction and HMI in our trucks. Together we make Volvo Group the most desired and successful transport solution provider in the world.
You will be working in an agile way, with the entire chain from early concept development to final verification in vehicle. The Driver Interaction technology stream belongs to Volvo Group Trucks Technology, in Gothenburg. We are responsible to develop the driver interaction for the future Volvo, Renault and Mack trucks. We work with end-user needs, defining usability requirements, building prototypes as well as developing, integrating and verifying the product ending up in the truck. Our work environment is based on trust and cooperation.

Wanted qualifications and merits:
- Master of Science in Human Machine Interaction, Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
- Profound knowledge in HMI development including usability
- Experience in Embedded C, C++, QT/QML programming, Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience from working with Human-Machine Interaction, using tools like SE-tool or other data base experience
- Experience of agile methods, such as SCRUM and KANBAN is an asset
- Automotive experience is a strong merit
- Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
- Driving license, vehicle experience
