Your future challenge
As the application owner of eCommerce and Java applications you will drive the development of our future eCommerce and custom Java solutions, working together with our business units, IT Service Area Managers and IT Enterprise Architecture team.
This position requires that you're constantly updated on the latest news and technologies within your area of responsibility.
This position requires some travelling both in Sweden and abroad.

Your role
The Technology Manager for eCommerce and Java is responsible for the IT applications within the eCommerce and Java domain. This domain consists of two global Java based eCommerce systems and various of other custom solutions based on Java technology.
In this position you will manage an outsourced delivery which will be predominately provided by one main supplier of managed IT services. You will mainly be involved in pre-studies, projects and smaller change activities. Your role is to collect and detail requirements, approve solution proposals and estimates, verify detail designs and ensure quality assurance as well as compliance to agreed standards and procedures. You might also be involved in problem investigations and sometimes complex incident resolution. Furthermore you will drive maintenance and improvement initiatives. You're also the owner of all standards, procedures and documentation within your domain.
From time to time there could be other suppliers involved in delivering projects within your area of responsibility. In some projects you might be involved heavily and in other projects you might be the receiver of the end result and hence responsible to put requirements on the project and assure the quality of the final deliverables. You're also expected to manage any supplier involved to assist in requirements gathering, quality assurance etc. whenever there is a need to get additional support.
Who you are
We think that you have a relevant educational background for the specified position. You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a large international company. To manage the task of this position it's essential that you have a deep understanding of relevant technologies and software development lifecycle. You also need a good understanding of B2B online sales business processes.
You have the ability to communicate both in written presentation and in speech. As we are a global organization this includes excellent skills in English. It's important that you are a well-organized person who likes to work in a structured way and actively work on preserving established processes and procedures.
