Who is your future team?
The Tools, Design & Technology department supports the rest of Axis with specialists and knowledge within mechanical development/design. We are also responsible for our PDM/PLM systems and how they are used by all parts of the organization. This results in a very diverse, challenging, and fun environment that is highly visible within the Axis company.
What you'll do here as Process Developer?
You will work with configurations and adaptations of the systems on an enterprise level. You are a part of technical discussions with the IT-infrastructure department to fulfill the overall system requirements regarding performance, security and availability. You will interact with the superusers on different departments and help them with different technical tasks and challenges.
You will also be a part of the long-term planning for the systems and recommend solutions for different departments and user/business cases.
Who are we looking for?
Axis Communication AB uses Windchill and Thingworx as PDM/PLM-systems and we are now searching for a senior system engineer for these environments. The person we are looking for has extensive knowledge of server-side technologies and integrations for complex IT-systems. You can see and are able to interpret business needs into functions and adaptations of the systems. Development of Java code and scripts to handle these requirements are a part of your toolbox and you have good knowledge of web technologies and databases.
You have a university degree in software/system development and several years' experience of the Windchill platform. Thingworx system knowledge in some form are required.
