System Administrator Storage and Backup

As a Backup and Storage System Administrator here at Axis you will be able to maintain and manage daily operation aspects of our Storage & Backup infrastructure and give our consumers an excellent experience!

Who is your future team?
You will be part of a team which will have the operational responsibility for our global infrastructure. You will have plenty of colleagues within our department, IT Operations and Support, we are two teams with approx. 20 coworkers. And now we are looking for a colleague to fulfil the open positions in the IT Operations Routine and Compliance team. Together, in the IT Operations & Support team we are responsible for Axis global infrastructure and you will be responsible for the operational aspect of Storage & Backup. What you'll do here as Storage and Backup System Administrator:
As Storage and Backup System Administrator in IT Operation Routine and Compliance you will play an important role of supporting the organization with a highly available and reliable infrastructure. You will do so by manage the Life Cycle of the products and handle changes raised by the stakeholders who have services running on-top of the infrastructure. Important for the role is to take part in the team, how they work and continuously improve both the infrastructure as well as how we work.

* Manage and solve complex incidents
* Ability to develop the infrastructure to improve services
* Be a part and understand technical strategic plans
* Good understanding in the operational environment

Who are we looking for/Who are you?
We are looking for you, who have several of years' experiences in an operational role within Storage and Backup and you understand what great service is. It's a plus if you have some training in the different technology areas defined below. We think you like to work in a constant changing environment. You should have great troubleshooting skills and be able to drive requests and complex incidents from start to end. You have a good understanding of the importance of Life Cycle Management of the Infrastructure which means you have been working with coordination of activities like upgrades, patching and requests. You have excellent communications skills and have the ability of turning technical problem statements into a business perspective. We think you have genuine technical interest and understand dependencies within a technical ecosystem. You like to take ownership and work together with others to find the best solution for Axis.

* Scripting language
* PowerShell
* Python

As you will be a vital part of supporting Axis colleagues around the world, we think you need to have communication skills both in Swedish and English.
