We are a company of engineers - it’s in our DNA to imagine, build, and iterate. We were founded with a vision of transforming an industry that lacked competition and momentum. People from all over Europe, and the world, have joined us on our mission to build the biggest and best open banking platform in Europe. We offer the tools that allow anyone, from big banks to fintech startups, to build the future of financial services across Europe. But we are far from done.

As one of the first companies in Europe to initiate payments through open banking, our day-to-day work often means solving problems for which there’s no blueprint - problems that no one else has thought of before. What we build helps to drive the entire open banking sector forward. How we work

We are a tech company, one that’s modern, approachable, agile and always looking for a better way of doing things. We work in small teams that have full ownership of our services from idea, design, and implementation to operations and maintenance. This brings responsibility, creativity, and motivation as you will be a big part of developing both existing and future products. It gets you closer to the end product and makes you proud of what you have accomplished with your impact. We need our colleagues to be versatile, enthusiastic and display leadership qualities to tackle new problems across the board as we continue to push our technology forward.

The broader Payments team at Tink is effectively a startup within a startup, and our engineers work cross-functionally with product, design, and commercial stakeholders. This helps us move fast, with everyone taking the responsibility for our success in terms of what we build and how fast we grow.

Our technology

Tink’s platform is built on Java and Golang, we’re in AWS and we use Kubernetes for container orchestration. Our platform relies on Cassandra, MySQL, Docker, Kafka, Bazel, React, TypeScript, Unleash, Git, JUnit, and Mockito others. We aim at using tools that make sense, and at the same time allow the teams to be in control of the solutions in their problem space.
