Software engineer

In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
- Migrate Visual Basic applications to Java
- Take part in technical development assignments
- Work with requirements and product development
- Maintenance of our applications
- Support the Agile Product Owner in finding a good balance between life cycle management, maintenance, regulatory compliance and development
- Collaborate with the APO, business analyst and other roles to refine the product backlog to identify that the most valuable things are being worked on first
- Design solutions within the frames of defined architecture
- Ensure quality awareness and care when designing, building and maintaining software
- Strive for high level of automation of the tasks that are of repetitive nature for the whole continuous delivery pipeline

What is needed in this role:
- Extensive experience in Java
- Experience Visual Basic
- Preferably experience in COBOL development
- Good knowledge in Swedish and English

Majority of all applications are based on Zos and are developed in Cobol but we also have some old but important VB applications that need to be migrated to Java.
