Data Scientist

The intersection of modern machine learning methods, analytics, and business insight has opened up a huge, and largely untapped potential. We are looking for a Data Scientist wanting to join Nepa's Data Science team, working with cutting edge methods to deliver actionable insight to widely recognized companies across the world.

Your role as our Data Scientist with focus on dashboard development

As a Data Scientist at Nepa you will use your technical, analytical and programming skills to bridge great theoretical ideas with intuitive products, converting multi-source data into actionable insights. The primary area where we need you is in the front-end development of our interactive dashboards where you will be instrumental in creating data flows and visualizing business insights to our customers. Together with your development team and with great colleagues from all of Nepa’s areas of expertise, you will take projects and products to the next level.

Your profile as our Data Scientist

You are a flexible, resourceful, and open-minded team player with a highly analytical mind. You have a problem-solving attitude and love building strong and sustainable software turning data points into graphs and metrics that are key in solving business issues. We believe you have a degree in computer science, physics, math, statistics, engineering or similar; a genuine interest in web design and the ability to pick and mix from tools and skills such as:

- Hands on experience with R and the Shiny package

- Front-end development

- Programming in general (e.g. R, Python, JavaScript, C#)

- Market research

- Databases (SQL and NoSQL)

- Machine Learning
