Swedish translator to Visma.net ERP We are looking for a  translator who has the wish to expand knowledge and move into new territories within technical writing  and who wants to work with Visma.net,  one of the most modern and complete business solutions in the cloud.

About the role

We are now looking for a Swedish Translator to Visma.net ERP who wants to be involved and further consolidate the cloud solution of the future, Visma.net, on th e Swedish  market! Yo u will be part of our competent and forward-looking team and work with  translating the user documentation to Swedish in close collaboration with technical writers in Denmark, Finland, Norway and the Netherlands.  You will be placed in Stockholm together with some of the team members. 

We are fortunate to have a team of technical writers where you will be a member in addition to our agile project organisation. The technical writers are in a distributed team with members from several countries. This gives you the opportunity to discuss your subject matters with like-minded people. We also use tools from MadCap Software to develop our user documentation and that will be used in the translation process too. These are dynamic tools with all opportunities to be effective and make good looking documents for our readers.  The technical writers also have the possibility to pull in developers to optimise their tools. This is one of the advantages of working in our organisation - you have lots of expertise at your fingertips. 

You will be the person starting the translation process for a large set of information for our Swedish readers. We know that task will never be done, but you will have the opportunity to move more into technical writing as time goes.

Working tasks

Work in close collaboration with the Product owners, the Developers and our Business analysts.

Translate the user documentation from  English to Swedish using tools from MadCap Software.

Translating the UI of Visma.net ERP to Swedish using CrowdIn.

Move on to technical writing. 

We believe that you are/have

A translator or a technical writer by profession.

Native Swedish level. (Bachelor in linguistics).

Knowledge of financial terms.

Knowledge of terminology in computer science.

Knowledge or willingness to learn Flare and Lingo from MadCap Software.

Knowledge or willingness to learn CrowdIn.

A person that likes to investigate, do research and work independently.

You are communicative and someone that is willing to share knowledge.

You are a person who really enjoys working in a team.
