Do you have a passion for AI and ML? So do we! We are now strengthen our capabilities in our new division AFRY X.  
We are looking for developers with a high level of interest within artificial intelligence and machine learning in order to help our clients extract value from their data. You will be part of a team responsible in all the processes from data collection, cleaning, and pre-processing, to training models and deploying, to production. 
This is the job
You will be part of a cross-functional agile team developing one of our future products. One of the products is a machine vision platform that makes it possible to detect, track and geo position objects. The solution is completely GDPR compliant; it analyses the video data in real time without recording it. This makes it possible to achieve everything from space analysis and flow control, to traffic analysis and security or safety systems. We need more people with great ideas and creativity to explore future products.
As a ML Developer you focus on 

Understanding business objectives and developing models that help us achieve them, along with metrics to track their progress
Analyzing the ML algorithms that could be used to solve a given problem and ranking them by their success probability
Exploring and visualizing data to gain an understanding of it, then identifying differences in data distribution that could affect performance when deploying the model in the real world
Verifying data quality, and/or ensuring it via data cleaning
Defining the preprocessing or feature engineering to be done on a given dataset
Defining data augmentation pipelines
Analyzing the errors of the model and designing strategies to overcome them
Deploying models to production  

Who are you?
We value your personality and mindset, as well as previous work experience. We see that you have documented knowledge in Data Science or a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering or computer programming. 
A merit is experience from one or more of our core transforming segments infrastructure, food and life science, bioindustry or clean energy. 
Formal requirements

Extensive knowledge of ML frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture
In-depth knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and algorithms
Expertise in visualizing and manipulating big datasets
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Great communication and collaboration skills

You should be strong in:

Cloud development (preferably Azure)
Image analysis (preferable with Deep learning)
Java and Python
We expect that you have a solution-oriented attitude and enjoy working in an ever-changing environment, that you lika interacting with people and working on group projects. You should have a genuine interest in new technology and exploring new things, learning comes natural to you. We require that you are fluent in verbal and written English, Swedish is a merit.
