As the Software Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in Aptiv AS&UX Software Quality Engineering Team, adopting a strategic approach to implement Built in Quality and improve our ASPICE compliance. You will become a Trusted advisor to System and Software engineering practitioners. You’ll be the part of a community of Software Quality Engineers.

Your Role:
- Driving quality and compliance throughout the Software development process
- Mentoring and educating the team on Aptiv processes and Automotive SPICE
- Driving and participating in work product reviews and process assessments to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Verifying process & product quality of the software to stay compliant to Aptiv and Customer quality requirements
- Collecting and analyzing the Project Metric data and trends
- Interfacing to OEM regarding software/system relevant quality topics
- Assisting and encouraging the software team in Continuous Process Improvement activities
- Active participation in technical innovations and organization programs.
Your Background:
- You got Bachelor's degree in Computer science or equivalent with experience in Software Quality Assurance/ Software Development/Testing preferably in Embedded domain.
- You have experience with capability maturity models (Automotive SPICE, CMMI) and Quality Management Systems (IATF 16949/ ISO 9001)
- You are familiar with agile methods and state of the art of development tools (Polarion, Jira, Confluence, Git)
- You are fluent in English
- You are Problem Solver: Exploring facts, Generate ideas, evaluating solutions and implementing plans.
- You are Communicative: Articulate problems/solutions, Convince people, Moderate discussions.
- You are Adaptable: Curious, Think outside the box, Resourceful.
