We at Emoco are looking for a full stack developer to join our growing team. It is a position that offers varied tasks and good development opportunities. You will become part of an environment where collaboration, team spirit and personal responsibility is highly valued. As the fifth member of our software team, you will have an integral part in making our services even more proficient.

We simplify automation, making it cost-effective and available to everyone from DIY and family businesses to schools and other corporations. Emoco is a workplace focused on software engineering, but we also perform mechanical and electronics engineering. There is also a lab and a workshop in our premises where you can build and modify competents (we even have robots!).

About our web service

Our services are divided between a public and a private web space. The public web space Agora is a meeting place for our users. It is a space to share services, products and knowledge. The space is based on NodeJS, including integrations with shipping suppliers, payment providers, accounting services and file repositories. The private web space includes The Desktop: a personal space where users can develop and manage products, including a code editor, a dashboard editor and a knowledge base interface.

Who we are looking for

The position as full stack developer requires practical skills and experiences, as well as the right attitude. You should appreciate being a part of a team and forming viable technical strategies. It is important to be up-to-date in your technical scope, tackling difficult problems, evaluating pros and cons of different frameworks, design patterns etc. You enjoy designing sustainable technical solutions in a creative way.

No matter your specialization and role in the team you should have:

• Education and experience developing business-critical systems
• Knowledge and experience in decision-making regarding technology and architecture

In addition, you have:

• Several years of experience working as a software developer
• Participated in multiple diverse projects
• Solid experience in JavaScript and NodeJS development
• English-speaking skills

Some additional qualifications are knowledge in:

• Containers and virtualization
• Java and C++
• MySQL
• Typescript
