Summary As a System Verification Engineer you will work with verification of complete solutions including Tilgin Remote Management and Home Gateway product portfolio, often in complex network scenarios in combination with customer specific requirements. The ultimate goal of the team is to approve and guarantee the quality of service and user experience of our solutions. Characteristics, performance measurements, load/stress tests are essential parts of our work as well as verifying new features of our products in network lab environment. System Verification is a small dedicated team and it offers great possibilities for new ideas and out of the box thinking. Experience To be successful in this role you should have experience of troubleshooting and testing of network equipment with expertise or good knowledge of managing IP networks and services, Linux system administration, VoIP, SIP, TR-069, QoS mechanisms, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n/ac, xDSL, Fiber access, Cat-Iq, 3G, IPv6 etc. Working experience from development, network operators and verification in the telecommunication field is highly qualifying as well as hands-on experience from test automation tools and test equipment for performance measurements. Desired skills The candidate should have good documentation and communication skills. You should be able to take initiatives in planning and investigations, as well as hands-on test execution, of developed features and technical focus areas; to make sure they fulfill requirements and customer expectations. The job also includes test automation and development of tools/scripts to improve test coverage and reporting. Hence, good knowledge in Ruby, Perl, bash, C/C++ or Java is advantageous. Tilgin works in a multicultural environment so the candidate must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing. We think that you have a Bachelor or Master degree in computer or communication-related areas with technical certifications in computer networking.
