The R&D team at Seneco is currently growing and covers a wide range of disciplines and responsibilities such as embedded software, Linux IoT gateway, cloud solution (back-end/front-end) and mobile apps used for configuration and diagnostics in the field.

To be able to achieve our ambitious goals and succeeding in the delivery of our next generation of the platform we are now looking for an experienced embedded developer with an additional focus on system architecture. You will play a key role in the implementation of our next generation device, from low-level presence sensor driver to a CoAP server exposing the data and a full IPv6 network stack for cloud connectivity.

The position is located at our competence center in Linköping, Sweden, where you will work with like-minded people developing our solution. At the competence center you will also find colleagues from the wider Fagerhult group working with IoT systems for the propTech sector and professional indoor solutions.

Collaboration is at the core of our company and whilst the position is located in Linköping we expect you to also spend time in Aarhus, Denmark, especially in the beginning of your journey with us to build a strong relationship with all team members there.

Who are you?

- You hold a degree (B. Sc., M. Sc.) in software engineering or equivalent via relevant work experience
- You are passionate about working with embedded devices and wireless communication
- You like writing efficient code, and thrive when adding new features or optimizing existing ones
- You have some experience in working with system architecture and would like to develop your capabilities in this field as the team continues to grow
- You are fluent in English. Swedish or Danish seen as an advantage

- C++, C#, JavaScript, Python, Lua
- Wireless radio and routing protocols for constrained devices (IEEE 802.15.4)
- IPv6, CoAP
- Git, Jira
