Background

Our client has decided to start a Data Transformation Journey. Their vision is to being customer-led and fact-based by making data-driven decisions A crucial part of this journey is to build a Nordic Analytic Platform. The technical platform is already in place and they have worked on a pilot phase until the end of last year. The platform consists of Fivetran and DBT for data integration and transformation, Snowflake for Cloud Data Storage, and MS Power BI for visualization.

Job brief

Our client is seeking a Power BI Developer for their team. You will be an important part of building a new team responsible for report development, where the work spans from developing visual reports, dashboards,and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop, drive and participate in requirement sessions, proactively use your experience to propose different scenarios and best way to visualize data. You will educate your team and share your knowledge across the organization. Design and layout are important so you should have an eye for that. It is a plus if you can set up and hold training sessions with the organization.

Vital skills

- English language proficiency
- 3 to 4 years of experience working with Power BI
- Familiarity with DAX, JavaScript, CSS, and other JavaScript libraries
- Passion for Data and associated technologies
- Creating reports with row-level access
- Optimization, performance, and tuning
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms preferable Snowflake
- Experience from large scale deployments
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or Engineering or similar

Nice to have

- Swedish language skills
- Experience from Power Apps & Power Automate
