As the Application Specialist you will be employed as a consultant by Experis, working in a temporary position for our client in central Stockholm. The consultant assignment starts immediately and lasts for one year.

The Application Specialist is responsible for managing and developing the data warehouse part of the Quality Evaluation System (QES), in close collaboration with the end-user application developer and the business (Quality).

The QES is a business intelligence solution for measuring and analyzing product performance as experienced by consumers. The QES processes service claims from all over the world and provides interactive tools for analyzing the data, especially the Service Call Rate (SCR). The QES was established in the 1990s, has more than 1000 users and is used in all sectors and regions.

Work description
Key operational responsibilities:
-Extract Load Transform Management (ELT)
-Manage regular (daily and monthly) data uploads from text files into the data warehouse
-Manage master data maintenance in the data warehouse
-Manage system maintenance
-Develop and optimize solution in collaboration with business needs and developments
-Assist with database competence when special queries/reports for management are required

Competencies needed
Critical:
-IT university degree or any other relevant education
-Minimum 3 years working experience
-Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2014 DBA
-Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

Personal attributes:
-Proactive (“self-propelled”)
-Analytical
-Responsible
-Interested in developing solution and own competence

Beneficial:
-Data warehousing for Business Intelligence applications

-Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services, (SSAS)
