What’s in it for you?
In the ART (Agile Release Train) called Insights and Product Development support (IPDS) at Digital we are creating a new digital product called “Car Data Domain”. This product will enable Volvo Cars to become a data driven enterprise by providing quality assured vehicle data for different use cases. The product will be led by a Produce Owner and a Scrum Master. 
For the team we are now recruiting two developers. We think you are passionate about data management. You are skilled in data modelling as well as designing, creating, developing, and maintaining digital capabilities needed to provide users throughout Volvo Cars with data and tools to create value and insights.
You will also be expected and have the possibility to be an expert and pro-actively stay updated on the state-of-the-art in technologies and best practices within the field of data engineering. In addition to having a key role in platform creation, you will be participating in concrete value-creating projects, where you will be contributing with best practices, architecture, and hands-on development

You and your skills
We believe you have a ETL Data centric background. You are experienced with systems for handling data of various form and representation, including unstructured and structured, relational, and distributed big data; streaming and persisted; store, query and analyze. You have worked with agile prototype driven development of products and/or services and in developing Big Data pipelines and with real-time streaming pipelines using Kafka or similar and development using MS Azure Services: Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Functions etc. You also preferably have experience and/or knowledge in Snowflake and programming languages as Java, Go, Phyton and SQL knowledge.

We work with the agile development method SAFe so an understanding or certification is meritorious.
