Junior Developer

We at Relax, the most innovative and fun iGaming provider this side of the galaxy, are now looking for a freshly cooked Junior Developer!

Your primary mission, if you choose to accept it, will be to facilitate the future of casino games, by performing regular maintenance and upgrades to some of the most fun and awesome casino experiences ever created! You will be an integral part of the process taking responsibility from the release and beyond. By continually looking at how we can improve and revolutionize the way we do things we solemnly swear that we will stay on top of new technologies and innovate the iGaming business.

This role will be the ideal starting point for anyone looking to get a foothold in the iGaming industry. You will get to closely study, understand and facilitate the intricate workings of the front-end side of some of the most highly regarded games on the market. We see it as important that you can easily learn new things, question familiar patterns and take your own initiative.

You will be working with highly qualified colleagues who will be very happy in giving you the support you might need to hit the ground running. You will need to actively collaborate with your colleagues to both acquire and share knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Study the workings of the existing slot-games
• Perform maintenance on our existing slot-game catalog
• Automate repetitive tasks
• Make sure that the performance of our games is kept at a high standard
• Continually look at potential improvements across all of our games

Requirements:

• Team player with good communication skills and fluent in English
• Demonstrational practical experience in web-development
• Proficient understanding of JavaScript or other dynamic languages

Bonus points for:

• Interest in iGaming
• Professional experience as a developer
• Experience using Pixi.js (2D rendering engine)
• Experience using other JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, Elm, Redux)
