The twelve month talent program is a collaboration between Nexer Tech Talent and the departments Connected Experience and Software & Electronics Platform at Volvo Cars and during this time you will combine working at Volvo with an educational package within your field of technology, team building and guidance by mentors. The program will begin in September 2021 and after a successful participation you will be offered employment at Volvo Cars.

Connected Experience:
Connected Experience develops and delivers Infotainment, Connectivity and Cloud Platform to provide a world-class digital user experience. We also deliver the Complete Vehicle Diagnostics system and an end-to-end platform for diagnostic monitoring & vehicle data collection. Our vision and strategy are to maximize the attractiveness of owning and using a Volvo, make all cars connected and provide a continuously enhanced experience for both new and existing cars.

Software & Electronics Platform:
We imagine that our friends, families, and children are transported in a personal, sustainable and safe way. What we build is a self-driving, fully electric, connected and safe Volvo Car.  To make that happen, we are now building a new platform. The brain in this platform will be a Core Computer with the capacity to carry a vast majority of electric control units and applications in the car. This new centralized signal system aims to enable optimized software architecture and continuous deployment for further development, as well as over the air data updates and real-time decision-making for autonomous drive.

Your next challenge
We are looking for talented engineers with a passion for software development to join the program. Whether you want to work with Java, C/C++, Python, Android or Cloud – we have a team for you!

To qualify for the program we believe that you are newly graduated and have a Bachelor´s or Master´s degree within (or nearby) one of the following fields:

- Information technology
- Computer science
- Engineering physics
- Electrical engineering or Mechatronics

Nexer Tech Talent (former Sigma Young Talent) is the consultant company that focus on talents in the beginning of the career within the areas IT and R&D.
