Kvalifikationer
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Industrial Design, Fine Arts or equivalent
- 5 or more years of CMF Design experience
- Self-driven passion for CMF, sustainability, and manufacturing technologies and processes
- Comprehensive experience and knowledge of materials, manufacturing, and finishing processes
- Understand and fluent on the use of colour measurement techniques and tools
- Must have a strong working knowledge of 3D and 2D visualization software like Keyshot, Photoshop, & Illustrator and working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

Job Description
Our customer in the tech industry is building a world-class design team with a strong focus on experience, material innovation, and sustainability. This is the team responsible for bringing to life future home experiences and creating home appliances that deliver great sustainable user experiences for people around the world. We are now looking for a Senior CMF (Colour, Materials, & Finish) Designer to be a part of developing new colour, material and finishing design for future home appliances. The role will require both strategic and creative hands-on work to develop and deliver innovative design solutions, through prototyping, developing user insights, and the development of new material technologies and manufacturing processes. Your tasks will be to create great CMF designs, based on trends, user research, materials, manufacturing, and design thinking, and the ability to produce high-quality 2D and 3D visualizations. You will have to demonstrate in depth understanding of tooling, molding, forming and finishing processes, for plastics, metals, and glass. You ensure materials are matched and finished as design intent and specifications, have the ability to create and maintain highly detailed CMF specifications, and coordinate build reviews, actively collaborate with other design disciplines, product groups, R&D teams, and suppliers to execute projects independently in a global context and actively partner up with suppliers and R&D teams to develop new material technology projects and apply them on appliances.

Admission and Application
Full time position, 40 hours per week. The position will start in the middle of August 2021 and will be ongoing for a year, with good opportunities for extension.
