Our Exciting Opportunity!

Ericsson is on a digital transformation journey and has started to more and more use cloud technology in the IT delivery to the business. Both private and public clouds are being utilized in the delivery. Group IT, the enterprise part of Ericsson IT has chosen Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the primary cloud provider. But we also provide AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Azure accounts to other parts of Ericsson. The CI/CD Engineer team is growing to meet the increasing demand for these services.

The product area CI/CD Toolchain offers an integrated tooling capability across the automation areas of DevSecOps on Public Cloud helping applications deliver at a higher velocity.

Your role will include designing and maintaining these CI/CD (continuous integration and continuous development) toolkits that enables product and engineering teams to work with a CI/CD pipeline. Driving and supporting teams in the set up and use of the CI/CD toolchain.

Our focus is on Speed and Lean and Agile ways of working. Presently we are organized in product teams, responsible for different cloud platforms, CI/CD, Network, Identity and access management and private infrastructure, in which continuous improvement, innovation and collaboration is part of the daily work. You will

  • Be a member of the competence team responsible for developing and configuring CI/CD toolkits for product and engineering teams
  • Drive the refinement and evolvement of DevOps and explore new technologies to improve innovation and development efficiency
  • Perform continuous analysis and breaking down requirements and user stories to issues/tasks
  • Ensure the automated pipeline becomes a consistent and repeatable process, ultimately allowing for safer and more rapid delivery of tested software and scripts
  • Drive continuous improvements of products and processes

To be successful in the role you have

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent within programming/computers or similar
  • Preferable 3-5 years of experience within the areas below
  • Broad infrastructure knowledge, including e.g. Linux, Python and object storage
  • Software installation, deployment, and configuration experience
  • Hands on experience in automated installation, Configuration and deployment of software development tools
  • Topic expertise and proven track record within as least one CI/CD toolchain/DevOps toolkit (Azure DevOps is good to have)
  • Proficiency in Programming language (C#,Python, Java, JS etc.)
  • Work experience in container orchestration services especially Dockers, Kubernetes
  • Basic knowledge/understanding for API Scripting and automation
  • Ability to detail and document for users
