The role
As a Software Test Automation Lead & Architect you will be a part of a software development team. You will be responsible for preparing test automation solution and designing automation frameworks. You will also lead the implementation of test strategy, test plans and test execution of Cepheid’s C360 connected platform. Cepheid C360 is a cloud-based software platform providing administrative and analytics support for Cepheid’s GeneXpert product family.
Responsibilities
In this position you will have complete ownership of the test automation solution, automation frameworks and the implementation of test strategy, test plans and test execution of C360. You will develop automation strategy to support regression testing based on the technical analysis, complexity and reusability.
Along with this you will recommend new tools, techniques and methodologies needed to enhance productivity and quality, you will also evaluate, select and formulate best usage of test automation tools and future alignment for different products and applications. Tasks will also consist of supporting automation script development and the optimization of those scripts.
Responsibility includes interacting with cross-functional stakeholders from SQA, Marketing, Service and support organizations, and project/program managers during the development and delivery of the product.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in field
- 7+ years of related work experience
- Expert in automation frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit and TestNG
- Hands-on experience with developing and enhancing test automation frameworks
- Software test automation background with Jenkins and Java, preferably in Unix environment
- Detail and technology oriented and possess excellent communications skills
- Fluent in English
Preferred qualifications include
- Background from medical device industry or regulated industry
- Knowledge in System Integration testing, performance testing, security testing is a definite plus.
