Junior Java developer

We are on an exciting transformational journey of our IT landscape and our ways of working. You will be in the middle of the Operations Analytics and Data Management Team, the hub where all information for our European operations (manufacturing, supply chain, logistics) is transiting. The team is composed of business analysts, project managers, application engineers and developers and is crucial in delivering projects in the area of supply chain, logistics, warehousing & manufacturing.

We believe you are a developer in the beginning of your career with a genuine interest for tech. You have a degree from university/ technical education and some first hands on experience from web projects and java framework .

You are curious and willing to learn, have a can-do attitude and as us believe that you need to understand business processes in order to be able to be a great developer that creates value. Purpose matters to you and you want to work in a challenging international company committed to sustainability and diversity and have the impact to contribute to changing consumers lives across the globe.

As our new team member, you will be exposed to the different processes and systems in parallel to doing java development. You will be mentored by a senior developer and we are looking for you who want to grow towards becoming a full stack developer capable of taking work from concept definition through to deployment and operation.

Required experience/skills:

· J2ee

· Java 8 or greater

· good knowledge of java framework such as JSF,Struts,Spring,iBatis,Hibernate and EJB 3.0 or greater

· web language (Javascript,Html5,CSS3,jQuery)

· Design Pattern

· WebServices (SOAP/REST)

· good knowledge of relational database such as DB2,Mysql,MS Sql, oracle

· knowledge of one of the following application servers: WebLogic, WebSphere, Jakarta-Tomcat

· IDEs Eclipse or RAD.

· English as working language

Preferred experience:

· basic knowledge system unix/linux, AS400 - iseries

· Versioning tools (SVN,Git)

Stakeholders and team members are spread across Europe wherefore travel sometimes occurs.

You must be fluent in English, additional language of Swedish, Italian or polish is an advantage. Possible location: Stockholm, Sweden or Pordenone, Italy.
