Have you ever created an Android product?

We are now currently looking for a variation of skilled engineers to join our developer teams. The area of Android development is increasing and we currently have many different assignments where you're skills are needed. We hope to find engineers with different skillsets within Android development and to then match the perfect candidate with the perfect assignment! ❤️

We will expand our teams, working on embedded products based on Android. The teams are currently working with everything from the lower layers of the Android framework, including Linux drivers and in to the java framework layer. The ideal candidate has worked in at least one area of the Android stack bellow the application layer. The developers will be part of our very strong development team that works with our high profile customers.

*Please note we are not looking for application developers.

You're role includes

Design blocks and sub-systems, considering inputs like system architecture, HW specifications, chosen platform, use cases, standards and communication protocols.
Program in C, C++, Java and Python.
Adapt, configure and integrate code and sub-systems from external parties.
Contribute in pre-studies and propose technical solutions
Collaborate with specialists and developers from other technical areas like hardware, production technology, and quality verification
Investigate and learn new product domains in context of need to design the correct solutions

We expect skills and experience in:

Android framework ( >1 years)
AOSP Framework architecture
Embedded C/C++
Linux
Development tools like Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, Coverity
Creative debugging with multiple sources and techniques like debuggers, log analysis, signal analysis, and protocol sniffers
Our way of working is team based, and hence it necessary to have good team working skills

Modem area of android
Telephony and/or RIL area of android
Integrating Qualcomm platforms
Device driver development
Real time operating systems
Connectivity standards like IP, Bluetooth, ZigBee, NFC, LTE and Wi-Fi
Power management
Audio software
Cameras and display software
Image analysis
Artificial Intelligence

Measuring instruments like oscilloscope and logic analyzers
Wear OS by Google

Kotlin
