Our team:

The Local Connectivity Team belongs to the section “Network Development & Verification” in Lund and is responsible for securing WLAN and Bluetooth functionality of Sony’s mobile phones, primarily for the yearly cookie upgrades.

The role will primarily be to support in the bring-up and issue handling activities related to Sony mobile phones. Initially the focus will mostly on WLAN, but the person will also be expected to support within Bluetooth.

Competence within WLAN and Bluetooth is of course valuable, and so is experience in the Android development environment and tool chain. But it’s also important to have the right mindset. The person must be flexible, not afraid to take on new challenges, and willing to learn new things. It must be a self-going person, capable of and comfortable with taking decisions, and with good communication skills.

Functional competencies

Good knowledge in C and Java programming is a mustCompetence and experience within Bluetooth and WLAN is very valuableExperience in Android platform development environment and tool chain is good to haveExperience in embedded Linux platforms is a plus
