To succeed as Systems Engineer you have:

• 3-5 years’ experience in software development.
• Knowledge of Rest API design and development using NodeJS & Django Framework
• Experience of Building frontend web services using JavaScripts e.g., React.
• Experience Backend development in cloud environment– Java, Python.
• Knowledge of functional and automated testing, experience with CI/CD tooling.
• Experience working with Identify & Access management, Auth0 and OAuth2 solutions.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and methods.
• Container experience and basic Kubernetes concepts.

Meriting skills include:

• Zero Trust Architecture
• Working with public cloud providers, Google primarily but Azure also meriting

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Software Engineer in Database Platform Services, you will be part of highly skilled engineering team, responsible for building cloud-like database (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS-SQL, MongoDB etc.) hosting services. Your responsibility area would be to develop software code for frontend and backend webservices using JavaScript frameworks, Python and Java tec, developing REST APIs for infra delivery and automations.

Among many tasks you will:

• Develop, run and maintain high-quality code of the assigned Product or Service using the right toolsets required in order to meet consumer expectations on the delivery
• Develop high-quality software design and architecture in accordance with good practices and agreed standards, such as Ingka Software Security Directives, to ensure delivery according to requirements and compliance
• Work in agile teams across areas, contributing to the development and maintenance of Products and Services
• Apply and promote good software engineering practices, including continuous integration and delivery, within an agile/iterative development approach in order to improve time to market and fulfill business needs.
• Drive change activities in different environments in order to secure functionality and availability
• Deliver tests, performance analysis, configuration management and creation of functional/feature specifications to improve the Product/Service delivery
• Continuously explore and evaluate new technologies in order to boost innovation and productivity for optimisation/modifications to the current design and development productivity
• Provide support and guidance as needed to consumers and other engineers encouraging good practices.
• Develop different engineering patterns for different types of Products and Services by working across initiatives within Ingka.

The position is located in Älmhult or Helsingborg, Sweden.
