Software Test Engineer

As a Test Engineer you will join our System Software functional group within our E&D department, with focus on testing and developing tests for our products. Responsibilities

The Test Engineer is part of the product development and focus on the verification that the products fulfill the requirements setup. This means that you will analyze requirements, create manual and automated test cases, setup test environments, perform tests, analyze and report results.

You belong to our Test Team for System Software, and you will together with your team colleagues develop test strategies, test methods, test environments and test automation.

You will also work in a Scrum environment together with Scrum Product Owners, System Architects, Software architects and Software developers, where you will be involved in development from early technical prototyping until customer launch.

Requirements

We are looking for you with a genuine interest in software and specifically testing. In addition to this, we also see that you:

• Have a degree from IT, Computer science or Electrical engineering

• Have 0-2 years of experience in the software development/testing domain

• Are an appreciated team member and have a good ability to understand technical documentation and requirements, creatively plan and create applicable test scenarios/test cases, trouble shooting in software environments, documenting and presenting results for stakeholders

• Are proficient in written and spoken English, it is considered as a merit if you also have strong knowledge in Swedish

Internship or proficient experience in software development using some programming language (e.g. C#, Java, Python) will make you an even better fit for this position!

Our products consist of electronic devices as well as software components in standard Windows environment, and you therefore need to do some hands-on test equipment setup.

It is a merit if you have understanding on test automation environments e.g. Selenium, Cucumber, and CI/CD environments e.g. Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Jira.
