Who are we, and why are we looking for you?

Star Republic is the leading supplier of e-commerce solutions in Sweden. And we’re doing quite well. Actually, we’re doing so well that we are now on the lookout for ten new members to join the band and help us take the next step, both in terms of our deliveries as well as Star Republic as a company.

Almost half of these new jobs are as backend developers. You, who is reading this, already know what this means. People like you are the spine in a company that works with creating the most technologically sophisticated e-commerce platforms on the market. When we deliver, the focus is not merely on a nice looking facade, but that the whole build needs to be solid - from overarching architecture down to single functions.

What will you be doing at Star Republic?

As a developer with us, your ability to challenge and motivate technical decisions is what makes you an invaluable asset to the agile and self-organizing team. Together with your team, you will be working with a wide range of technologies and platforms within e-commerce, everything from EPiServer Commerce to custom serverless solutions. Primarily, you will be a part of a team that works with several different clients but on bigger projects you will join up with several different Stars from other teams as well.

Who are you?

We believe that you as a person is much more important than your certifications or how fast you can create a SAP integration. Sure, certifications are all nice and dandy, but if you are a team player who knows how to take responsibility, is truly curious, likes a challenge and believes that a person is never fully taught - then you are the right person for us. We’d like you to have a stable foundation within .net and C#, but it’s also a great merit if you have some knowledge in MongoDb, Docker, Azure and/or AWS. If you have previous experience within Episerver/Optimizely Commerce Cloud or Commerce Tools we will swipe right, at once! ❤️
