We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Technical Writer.

The main tasks involve writing system and user documentation in close collaboration with the software development organization. You will work with people from all departments, worldwide, to get the information you need, and all documents are written in English.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Work with development teams to identify documentation requirements for new features and releases, plan and scope effort.
• Work in close collaboration with subject matter experts that contribute directly to the documentation.
• Create/develop/update content, test against the actual product, and deliver high-quality documentation according to scheduled milestones.
• Tailor documentation to meet the needs of different audiences, including administrators, end users and integrators.
• Provide feedback on product user interfaces and terminology.
• Help identify and implement process improvements and documentation strategies.
• Take on special projects outside the scope of regular tasks.

Required skills:

• You have experience with technical writing.
• You have excellent oral and written English, and write and communicate in a clear, concise and consistent style.
• You are proficient in exploring and understanding technical systems.
• You deliver complex and technical information in appropriate formats that suit the target audience.
• You are proactive, self-driven, hard-working, and capable of working with tight deadlines.
• You thrive in a team environment.
• You have a degree at university level in science, engineering, a computer related discipline or journalism, or equivalent.

• Confluence and Jira
• Broadcast industry tools and workflows
• UX/UI design and context-sensitive help
• Testing software products and user interfaces
