AlgoDx is defining a new category of clinically validated ML-based diagnostics and clinical decision support tools. We believe modern machine learning techniques represent an untapped opportunity to help save lives and reduce healthcare expenses. Our mission was born in 2018 and now, after a series of successful R&D advances and regulatory milestones, we are heading to market.
We are therefore looking to grow our team with an experienced Chief Information Officer. You will be leading AlgoDx’s technical strategy and day-to-day development work, ensuring that all systems necessary to support and deliver AlgoDx products and objectives are in place. Apart from education and relevant experience, you must have every quality of a self-motivated leader and strong strategic and business acumen.
Roles
Everyone at AlgoDx wears many hats. We seek a CIO to act in the following categories of responsibility:
Lead architect and developer: Envision and build efficient, scalable, and compliant cloud systems for streamed data processing of healthcare information.
Lead integrator: Supervise timely and accurate integrations with diverse and sometimes unpredictable hospital data streams, as well as support existing integrations.
Technical commercialization lead: Steward our algorithms in their journey from development to device, ensuring top-notch commercial performance across our customer base.
Lead data analyst: Support the business team with critical KPI tracking and technical insight.
Information Security & Compliance Officer: Ensure physical and cyber security of AlgoDx resources; maintain compliance through regular audits and security training sessions.
Responsibilities
Across all these roles, we seek a CIO who will:
Set objectives and strategies to implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations.
Track and communicate progress in a clear and transparent manner.
Perform effective cost and risk analyses of various technical decisions; think carefully & strategically about budgetary matters.
Tender for future projects and applications.
Manage a growing team of technical specialists, both staff and partners.
Manage technical hiring efforts.
Monitor changes or advancements in the technology landscape to keep AlgoDx on the cutting edge.
Requirements
Proven experience as a CIO/CTO or similar managerial role.
Solid understanding of medical informatics.
A strong strategic and business mindset.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Outstanding communication skills in Swedish and English.
Experience with modern web technologies such as microservice architectures, SQL, NoSQL and timeseries databases, as well as modern DevOps tooling and workflows.
At least some of the following:
- Experience with streaming data processing, cleaning, and storage.
- Experience building technology in a compliant environment (MedTech, Finance, etc.), especially medical device programming.
- Experience with HL7 (FHIR), or other integration experience.
