Great! Volvo Group IT is now searching for anexperienced SW Engineer, within the Embedded SW domain.

Volvo is driving several exciting transformation projects and initiatives to digitalize our business processes and leverage the value of data and become a fully data-driven company and where embedded services will play a more central and important part of the Business going forward.

Our existing IT solutions are all based on C# technologies like .net, .net Core backend technologies and different javascript technologies. We have just started a transformation towards a microservice-driven delivery and organisation, with heavy investments to transform and modernize our overall IT architecture.

We are supporting the Volvo Group’s Digital ambitions to become a fully agile, data-driven company, in which we in our team have a central role in the documentation and the release process as well as for Production and Aftermarket embedded SW release.

We support the Engineering departments with SW capabilities and being an enabler for the internal embedded software (ESW) development.

Our applications also support the release process for Production and Aftermarket within the Volvo Group, by providing the “right” SW for the right purposes.

Role Description Your Mission:

So who are you?

• You consider endless of time on various online forums to find technical solutions, is much more satisfying than buying a finalized product.
• You consider SW-development more to be a lifestyle rather than a Job.
• It would be great, if you are a skilled developer in .net Core and in any modern javascript and really interested to learn more about how to set up a true DevSecOps pipeline, or perhaps you can even teach us in things like that!
• You have a customer driven mindset and do Innovation exploration by testing and learning.
• You are a full-stack developer who uses the modern architecture/designs and integrations at hand in your daily work.

If you have previous experience of embedded software development within automotive, it will most likely come in handy. But the requirement is that you at least once have seen a Volvo Truck.
