Senior Animation Engineer

As a senior animation engineer you will be working on our exciting upcoming game, together with some of the most talented people in the games industry… here in downtown Malmö @Sharkmob!

You will be an important part of the studios growing Animation team. The team supports both projects that we are developing right now. You will be heavily involved into creating our animation pipeline for both productions in the years to come! This is the opportunity to build something new!

Together with your teammates you will evolve and extend Unreal’s animation systems. We use a mix of manual and procedural animation techniques, also exploring ways to incorporate machine learning! The game we’re making is built in Unreal, using C++ and blueprints.

What you'll get to do

- Help problem-solve in-game animation implementation issues.
- Develop new techniques and processes to solve animation production challenges
- Research latest applicable technologies and 3rd party software packages.
- Crafting and adding new features to Unreal Engine.
- Improving our Animation Systems Performance.
- Being in constant contact with the Animation and Game Design teams.
- We are doing games and we are really proud of it, you will serve first and foremost the Gameplay and the Art Direction.

Qualifications

- A Creative and Curious spirit married with a refined problem-solving mindset
- At least one shipped AAA title
- Proficiency in C/C++
- A solid understanding of 3D math
- You have an understanding of Networking, Physic simulation and IK
- Experience with Multiplayer Game
- Experience of working with Unreal Engine 4
- Unhindered in English - our team comes from all over the world
