Information Developer

At Semcon Product Information, we work with technical information for complex products and systems. We believe that product information plays an important role in utilizing the full potential of technology and creating great user experiences. We are looking for Information Developers that want improve our customer’s products through efficient product information.

The role
At Semcon we help our customers to create efficient and modern solutions for their Customer Product Information (CPI). As Information Developer, you will analyze, structure and produce user-friendly information for our customer. Amongst other tasks, you will analyze how product updates will affect the CPI and communicate the needed adjustments to the rest of the team. You identify and assist in driving improvements for the project with close cooperation with the CPI product owner.

A vital aspect of being successful in this role is to understand our customer and their current information structure. You make sure that you have the information that you need by establishing good relations with our customers and understanding their needs.

Who are we looking for?
We believe that you have a structured mindset and are accustomed with the work that goes in to creating modern product information. To thrive in this role, we believe that you are interested in creating excellent technology experiences with the help of user-friendly information. You know that small changes can make a big difference when it comes to information and enjoy the process of refining your work. A background in UX/software development/telecom is interesting for us, but most importantly, we are looking for your experience and knowledge within the product information area.

We believe that you:

- have 3+ years of experience working with customer product information
- have a good technical understanding within the software and telecom area
- are well accustomed to using XML-based tools, preferably DITA CMS
- are skilled in Topic Based Authoring
- produce clear and efficient information in English
