PRE Developer

We're looking for an extraordinary talented and creative programmer with strong C coding skills and experience working with networking stacks and applications. You'll be working on expanding, optimizing and maintaining the various parts of the core of our PacketLogic PRE product. The position is a 1 year contract, with the possibility to convert to a full time, continuing position.

As a PRE Developer at Procera Networks AB, you will work both independently and closely with a strong team that develops key components at the heart of our core product. Key Technical Requirements

-More than 5 years of software development experience
-Hardcore C programming experience
-Experience with developing networking stacks and applications
-Experience with Linux as a development environment as well as basic Linux networking knowledge
-Knowledge of high performance computing (fast data structures, profiling, cache handling, etc)
-Concurrent programming (SMP, locking, race conditions, etc).
-Ethernet and TCP/IP knowledge, packet formats etc.
-Unit test development and test driven development experience

Preferred additional knowledge/background
-OS kernel level programming.
-Basic understanding of distributed SCM's (git, bitkeeper, etc).
-Compiler implementation experience
-Experience with FPGA
-Knowledge and understanding of the importance of QA and testing processes (and the difference between them)
