Software Recognition Analyst

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

You will be analyzing data that our inventory solution gathers from our customers’ computers to identify and separate installed software files from operating system files, drivers etc. With gained knowledge and information (through research on the internet and contacts with manufacturers) on the software found in the environments of our customers, you will decide if the software is a commercial product. Also, you will be working with customer support and on specific projects.

The work requires that you are fast in picking up new skills as you will be expected to be able to work autonomously and that you take initiative in solving the assignments you are presented with.

In dialog with the customers you will need to have the ability to deliver technical information in a more customer-friendly language.

WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU

• Degree in IT and/or minimum two years’ IT experience
• Solid experience of Windows
• Good comprehension of how applications are installed and run
• Basic knowledge of Linux and/or Unix
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

DESIREBLES

• Experience of OS X
• Experience of Software Asset Management and various licensing models
• Experience of software inventory
• Knowledge of hardware inventory including mobile devices
• Multilingual – Portuguese, French, or Spanish
