Our Exciting Opportunity

Ericsson Global IT has built a centralized team with the mission of developing common DevOps tooling and cloud automation to tackle problems that every development team has!

We are now looking for an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Architect in the realm of Cloud DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

The position will be based in Kista, Sweden reporting to the Product Area Manager of Hybrid Cloud.

The ideal candidate is an experienced developer using updated cloud tools and technologies. You have a vision, and a leadership mindset. You will support our software developers and data engineers in bringing new initiatives to life and will ensure optimal DevOps architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects. You must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams, systems and products.

You will

• Analyze, Execute, and Streamline DevOps practices
• Automate processes with the right tools
• Facilitate development process and operations thereof
• Architect overall, comprehensive, and efficient practices
• Develop appropriately detailed specifications/descriptions for our products and solutions clearly understood by the development teams, as well as the customers/users
• Act as an ambassador for DevOps internally and externally and as the main contact for queries related to our offerings

To be successful in the role you must have

• A University degree (MSc, MBA) or equivalent with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in Cloud Automation, and DevOps
• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes & Docker, experience with at least one configuration/deployment management system such as Terraform, or other similar tools
• Experience working with at least one of the following programming languages: Go, Python, Node.js, Ruby and Java
• Good knowledge of Cloud native technologies, Cloud infrastructure and understanding of micro-services architecture, as well as hands-on experience with public cloud providers (GCP, Azure, AWS)
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
