Senior SW Developer Back-end

MiCloud Connect and MiVoice MX-ONE are Mitel’s global UC platforms for cloud and on-prem deployment. We are now looking for a skilled Senior Lead SW developer to join our international team.

As a part of the development team, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, security, and support of the back-end, including the whole SIP stack in the platform comprising both SIP extensions and SIP trunks but also 3PP integrations.

We hope you enjoy working with Scrum as a development process and taking part in all development-related activities such as design, implementation, manual and automatic testing, troubleshooting, and bug-fixing. Responsibilities:

• Influence the technical direction of the product development according to the company’s strategy
• Design and write the code that is well tested, understandable, maintainable, safe, well documented, and not make you (or anybody else) embarrassed, confused, or uncomfortable six to twelve months from writing it
• Effectively, and on time, execute Mitel people-related processes
• Have a good overview and keep yourself updated with the available frameworks, tools, and patterns that help you succeed in your work
• Adopt and act on Mitel core values – growth, innovation, collaboration, trust, and respect

Requirements:

• At least Bachelor Degree in Programming, Computer Science, Telecommunication or similar (Masters degree preferred)
• Relevant experience in software development using C and C++ languages
• Proven track record of competence in SIP and/or WebRTC
• Several years of experience in using common open-source frameworks like Kamailio and FreeSwitch
• Proven skills in documenting the work
• Proven awareness of built-in security (security as part of the design)
• Several years of experience using “GO” language for writing micro services
• Administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting source and change control repositories
• Full life-cycle experience (design through delivery and support), Developing and improving CI/CD standards, practices, and procedures
• Several years of experience working as a software developer (DevOps) in an AGILE way
• Deep knowledge of building software environments (git)
• Working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
• Fluent in English, very good knowledge in Swedish, both written and verbal

Additional Skills (Advantageous):

• Good understanding of different Linux operating systems
• Constant Learning Culture practitioner
• Experience in CSTA phase III is a plus
