Test Lead within Command and Control

Command and Control West is growing and we are putting more efforts into the test and verification area. This is a position for a team lead of the integration and verification (I&V) team with the addition of driving the department software test development. You will be a part of our journey to grow and develop ways of working so that we can manage to deliver successfully and efficiently in our projects and product programs.

Your role

To work as a Test Lead within Command and Control means that you have to understand system behavior and performance. Your responsibility includes planning and leading the work for the I&V- team as well as coordinating work with project managers and other team leads. The role also includes driving the department test forum that include representatives from all development teams as well as the integration and verification team in order to facilitate knowledge-sharing and inspire to improved test practice.

Other tasks are:

Maintain and develop a common workflow regarding Integration and Verification, from both a product and project perspective
*

Facilitate I&V team meetings
*

For certain projects, take part in test activities and administer, review and release test documents
*

Coach the teams (both development and I&V teams) forward within the test discipline

Your profile

To succeed in this role, you are a self-motivated person used to efficiently collaborating with team members as well as other stakeholders. You have at least a couple years of experience from working as a test leader within the area of complex system development.

You are a structured person with the ability to prioritize. You take responsibility to deliver result and work proactively. Your passion lies in finding the best ways of working and you have the ability to challenge status quo and seek out new perspectives. You should know what it takes to develop software with quality and on-time.

You are a good communicator, fluent in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing and have experience from coaching agile teams in complex environments.

Required skills:

Bachelor degree or work experience in similar roles and tasks

A few years of experience from working with software test (including automation) and QA
*

Experience from test planning and team management
*

Experience in analyzing test results, improvements, fault tracing and root cause analysis
*

Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written

Experiences from programming (preferably in Java)

Knowledge of and Jira and Git
*

Knowledge of Windows and Linux

Experience from SW and HW development

Understanding of requirement and compliance work

Experience from working in agile teams

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

What you will be a part of

You will be part of the development of command, control and communication systems for our radars used in the ground base air defence domain. The department consists of approximately 62 employees and consultants and we plan to grow. We have the whole chain of competences from demand to delivery within our department.
